Modena Mobilia is a factory-direct maker of 100% solid walnut furniture, based in Manhattan Beach, California. We sell primarily online and ship nationwide — but if you’re local, you don’t have to buy solid walnut sight unseen.
See and Feel the Wood Before You Buy
We keep a small set of sample pieces and finish samples at our Manhattan Beach location. If you’re in the Los Angeles area and want to check the weight, the joinery, and the grain in person before ordering, we can arrange a time to show you what we have on hand.
It isn’t a full showroom — it’s a working space with a handful of pieces — so visits are by appointment only. Contact us to set up a time and tell us which pieces you’re considering; we’ll make sure the closest examples are available.
Why South Bay Buyers Order Factory-Direct
The same solid-walnut dresser or dining table on a Los Angeles showroom floor typically carries showroom rent, display inventory, and sales commission on top of the furniture itself. We carry none of that. You’re paying for the wood and the joinery, not the building it sits in — often well below what comparable pieces cost at design galleries. See the price teardown for specific, current comparisons.
And every wooden component is solid American black walnut — never veneer over MDF, never “walnut finish.” How to tell the difference →
